About the Toy Factory

Since 1972 we've been providing parents with educationally oriented toys games, books, toyfactoryand science items.  We have a 10,000 sq. foot store in downtown Corvallis, Oregon. It's packed with a huge assortment of merchandise. Many customers spend hours browsing. toyfactoryAnd we'd certainly like to welcome you to do the same. If you can’t visit us and our delightful small Oregon community we’d like to toyfactory encourage you to find and support a toy store near you. While were a bit biased and think that the toyfactory is selection, pricing and friendly staff is without parallel we do understand that most of you can’t travel thousands of miles to shop at a self proclaimed exceptional toy store. But all is not lost! There is an organization of specialty toy stores called ASTRA. We strongly toyfactoryencourage you to press the ASTRA link (after you’ve looked over our site) to find a toy store near you.

We believe that toys are a product that should be experienced and that there should be a connection between the toy and the child - and thetoyfactory purchaser. We think that toys are  a child's work and are very instrumental and important in a child's development. We feel uneasy seeing matters this important relegated to the click of a mouse button based on a TV ad or e-commerce blurb. End of sermon!

We're a "Mom & Pop" store. Our children grew up in a toy store!. As they got older they worked here too, as "toy testers", then clerks, stockers, display makers, and now, this fall, Errol and his wife Katey are toyfactorymoving back from Colorado to take over our toy store traditions! And our cute and lively grand daughter is about ready to take over the “toy tester” job. Life cycles on!
